I wanted to let you ladies know that Simplicity is recalling ALL dropside cribs. The recall came out yesterday. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09260.htmlThey have also recalled a number of baby floats: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09261.htmlWe of course got hit with the crib recall. Since Im only 4'10" It is nearly impossible to not have a dropside crib and I had to buy the only one our exchange here sold. We have returned it and Nicholas is now having to sleep in his Pack N Play.

We just returned out Simplicity Bassinet a few months ago because they were recalled too. We had it for BRaelyn and I loved it. But I'm not gonna take a chance with this baby using it and getting hurt so back it went. _________________ [center]

That's Rosslyns crib. It's in KY but I told Jordan's mom that it was recalled and that she could just take it to the store and get her money back. I don't know what we're going to do for a crib once we move home now.

| If you don't have the packaging what can you do? Lizzie's crib here in Maine isn't a drop side one but the one at my Mom's is. She's had it since Lizzie was born, so 2 yrs now. Thanks for posting this!! _________________ Once a Marine Wife, Always a Marine Wife.

We of course didnt have packaging as we bought it when I was only 8 weeks pregnant, but I still had the receipt showing that I had bought it from our exchange. Im not sure how it all works if you don't have receipts as this is the first time something of ours has been recalled. I took it back to the exchange in its many pieces. Infact I discovered this morning that I forgot some pieces so I am going to take them back later on this afternoon and tell them I forgot to include them.

I didn't need packaing or the reciept when I took the bassinet back. We had it for 3 years. IT was in ur garage for over a year so it was dusty and they still took it back with no questions. They have too. _________________ [center]
